Indian films to air on TV : Lahore High Court

Lahore: Chief Justice has allowed private television channels to telecast Indian Movies.

Having valid licences to show Indian movies :PEMRA 

Chief Justice Syed Mansoor Ali Shah permit the permission in the light of Pemra’s report that states as per Clause 7.2, television channels were allowed to air Indian Movies

The petitioner-company in 2010 was granted a 15-year licence by Pemra to operate a cable channel, “Filmazia”.

It said the government was indulging in “selective patriotism” as Indian movies had been allowed to be screened all over the country but not on television.

The 2016 Uri attack was an attack by four heavily armed terrorists on 18 September 2016, near the town of Uri in the Indian-administered state of Jammu and Kashmir. After this attack India claim Pakistan for this Attack and ban Pakistani Actors, Dramas and Movies in India. Pakistan answer them in a same manner and ban Indian Movies, Drama etc in Pakistan.

After 5 months Pakistan Decided to lift the ban over Indian movies and Kaabil released in Pakistan. This clearly indicates that now Indian movies will released in Pakistan. Today High Court also Lift the ban over Indian Drama.

Many People of Pakistan are not happy about this decision and they claimed Government for this.
